You may or may not be pleased with the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision that the Trump Administration can move forward with dismantling the Department of Education, but either way – Georgia must be prepared.  And thanks to legislation passed earlier this year, it will be. Senate Bill 154, sponsored by state Sen. Bo Hatchett, R-Cornelia, updated all references to the Dept. of Education in Georgia’s code to include “or its successor.”  That means there will be a smoother transition when it comes to teacher licensing, accreditation, student loans, and grant money.  RISING…
