U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-GA, along with fellow U.S. Sens. Martin Heinrich, D-NM, Jim Justice, R-WV, and Steve Daines, R-MT, has introduced the 'Forest Bioeconomy Act' to boost forestry products research and create new market opportunities for the sector. The bill would help to create new jobs in rural Georgia, in an industry that already has a more than $41 billion economic impact.

“Georgia’s forestry industry is vital to our state’s economy and I’m proud to work with my colleagues to find a bipartisan solution to invest in the future success of this sector,” said Warnock.
