A raucous Coweta County GOP meeting took place last week, where Brant Frost V – the county party chair and son of Brant Frost IV who allegedly orchestrated a massive Ponzi scheme – stepped down from his leadership position. However, the younger Frost, who himself faces over 60 state ethics complaints due to his PAC spending hundreds of thousands of allegedly ill-gotten dollars on candidates statewide, was then elected as a district committee member, keeping him in party leadership. That vote was met with dismay by many in attendance, including state Rep. Josh Bonner, who represents part of Coweta County. “This was more evidence why this party needs new leadership,” said Bonner. Could Paramount be coming to Georgia?
Paramount Skydance, one of the biggest and most prominent entertainment companies in the world, is furious at its home state of California over a lawsuit filed by the state’s attorney general attempting to stop a merger. In response, Chair David Ellison has threatened to move from Los Angeles to a state not actively suing his company, and Georgia was on the shortlist of possibilities. Gov.
