Four years ago then-six-year-old Kendall Rae Johnson became the youngest certified farmer in the United States, a title she still holds today.  The South Fulton native grows cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and more in her backyard garden and helps her parents manage the family farm.  Her story grabbed headlines, and now it’s grabbed a full ride college scholarship to South Carolina State.  And Kendall’s not done – as a USDA National Urban Agriculture Youth Ambassador she’s helping to encourage other children to apply for farming scholarships.  RISING…
