Georgia Republicans are celebrating what they feel is a win for election integrity. The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has ruled in Voter Participation Center v. Raffensperger that SB 202’s absentee-ballot application safeguards are constitutional. The court’s ruling ordered the case closed.

“This ruling is a resounding victory for Georgia voters and the rule of law. From day one, Democrats and their allies in the media have falsely smeared SB 202 as suppression,” said Josh McKoon, Chairman of the Georgia GOP. “The court confirmed what we’ve always said: these commonsense safeguards protect election integrity and violate no one’s rights.”
