President Donald Trump on Monday announced, via Truth Social, a 100% tariff “on any and all movies that are made outside of the United States.”  While no specifics have been released, (it would be very difficult to tariff an entire industry) it’s no secret that movie production in the U.S., including Georgia, has been trending down as studios have looked towards Europe for cheaper labor.  Industry insiders say they hope the tariff talk could push lawmakers towards instituting some sort of federal tax incentive to bring productions back stateside.  But with a federal shutdown looming, any push to help out the film industry on a national scale is DRIFTING…
