As Georgia’s film industry (like the rest of the U.S.) has struggled over the past couple years with feature films taking production overseas, it’s found a new successful endeavor in the form of game shows. At least seven game shows have been filmed in the Peach State over the last year, using sound stages, production teams, and even local talent. Cheap to make and a good way to chew up key broadcast hours, shows like “Family Feud,” “25 Words or Less,” “Flip Side” and “The 1% Club” have all found a home in Georgia. RISING…
Could Paramount be coming to Georgia?
Paramount Skydance, one of the biggest and most prominent entertainment companies in the world, is furious at its home state of California over a lawsuit filed by the state’s attorney general attempting to stop a merger. In response, Chair David Ellison has threatened to move from Los Angeles to a state not actively suing his company, and Georgia was on the shortlist of possibilities. Gov.
