The stakes are getting higher in the U.S. Senatorial race in Georgia. Two Republican candidates in the 2026 election released their third quarter fundraising totals Monday and both U.S. Rep. Mike Collins and Derek Dooley have raised almost $2 million in their quests to unseat incumbent Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff.
On Monday, Collins’ campaign announced that he has raised $1,902,474 from 40,210 contributions, with the average being $47.31. “This haul is even more impressive considering Collins was only a U.S. Senate candidate for roughly eight weeks of the quarter, filing his candidacy on July 28, 2025,” according to a statement from the Collins Team. The $2.9 million total includes a $1,008,084 transfer from his congressional campaign. Collins ends the quarter with approximately $2.4M cash on hand.
