During December the city of Dahlonega looks like it could be right out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. That’s partially because it is – it’s served as the filming location for multiple – but also because of its trees, lights, decorations and even Santa visits. The North Georgia mountain town was recently named as the state’s top Christmas destination by HGTV, which recently published its list of the 50 best Christmas towns in the U.S.
