Feds investigate trio of Ga. school systems
The U.S. Department of Education is investigating three Georgia school systems as part of a wider investigation into the practice of letting teachers or employees who were accused of sexual misconduct transfer to other positions. DeKalb County, Richmond County and Savannah-Chatham County school systems are all part of the investigation, and superintendents from all three systems have said they will fully cooperate with the investigation, and that they are committed to protecting students.
