It’s not often that you’ll get next year’s slate of U.S. Senate candidates to agree on something – but one place they are finding common ground is on the effort to ban stock trading by elected officials. Atlanta Beltline light rail back on the menu?
Many Atlantans were dismayed when Mayor Andre Dickens seemingly tabled the idea of light rail along the Atlanta Beltline, the city’s wildly popular and successful pedestrian path. After all, light rail was a core part of the loop’s original vision, meant to connect the city all around its (eventual) 22-mile loop.
