This coming March the South Georgia Film Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary, celebrating the the art and industry of film across the region. Hosted by Valdosta State University, the festival includes three days of film screenings, panels and workshops, and draws industry professionals from across the state. Successful alumni who have made a name for themselves in the industry return to speak, and film students and visitors alike get to hear from professionals who work both in-front and behind the camera. And if you’re an aspiring filmmaker yourself – submissions are now OPEN, and winners in the high school and college categories have the opportunity to receive scholarships to Valdosta State University.
