A City of Atlanta Housing Authority administrator has been charged with defrauding the government out of tens of thousands of dollars through Section 8 and COVID-19 relief scams. Tracy Denise Jones, senior vice president of Atlanta’s Housing Choice Voucher Program, is alleged to have collected more than $36,000 in Section 8 (low income) funding for a property she owned, and then another $27,000 in disaster relief and COVID-19 loans for that same “landlord” business. Could Paramount be coming to Georgia?
Paramount Skydance, one of the biggest and most prominent entertainment companies in the world, is furious at its home state of California over a lawsuit filed by the state’s attorney general attempting to stop a merger. In response, Chair David Ellison has threatened to move from Los Angeles to a state not actively suing his company, and Georgia was on the shortlist of possibilities. Gov.
