JAMES magazine is the only Georgia media outlet — assisted by a readers’ poll and a select group of bipartisan advisors in the field of public service and business — to rank our state’s registered lobbyists. Many of these lobbyists, of course, are involved in public policy issues that require working with public servants ranging from members of the executive and legislative branches of government to county and city officials.
We published our “2025 Top Lobbyists” rankings in our Sept.-Oct. 2025 magazine and, at a January 14th reception in Atlanta, JAMES CEO and Publisher Phil Kent presented awards to the deserving recipients.
Tomorrow, we will also feature pictures of three veteran lobbyists– Jenee Burke, Mike Griffin and John Watson– who were inducted into the JAMES Lobbyist “Hall of Fame.” Also, posthumously inducted was the late Columbia County state lawmaker-turned-lobbyist Ben Harbin.
