Georgia politicos got a shocker Wednesday afternoon when U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk announced he will not be seeking re-election this November.  The six-term Republican said he will “contribute to my community, state and nation in other ways” in a statement.  His GOP-leaning district runs from Northwest Georgia down into the Atlanta suburbs, and will surely draw another crowded field as the now-fourth open congressional seat in the Peach State.  More to come on that impending scramble – the surprise announcement leaves the 11th District DRIFTING…
