Last December’s announcement that Atlanta Public Schools would close or repurpose more than a dozen schools raised eyebrows, but not as many as this month’s news that DeKalb County will close over TWO dozen. It mirrors a national trend of a major decline in public school enrollment. Many students never returned to school after COVID, while home schooling and private schools have become more popular as well. National Rifle Association salutes Mike Collins
As campaign season ramps up, the National Rifle Association (NRA) is hitting the trail with its Gun Bus Battleground Tour, where it will visit 13 battleground states backing candidates it says are staunch defenders of the 2nd Amendment. One of those is here in Georgia in U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, running for U.S. Senate against Democrat Jon Ossoff.
