Just days after former state Rep. Dexter Sharper submitted a letter of resignation to Gov. Brian Kemp, he pleaded guilty to in federal district court to illegally receiving more than $14,000 in pandemic unemployment benefits.  That makes him the second Democrat to do so this year, former state Rep. Karen Bennett pleaded guilty to a similar charge.  Sharper will be sentenced in July, but prosecutors have asked he pay $10,096 in restitution and an additional $100 administrative fee (a number oddly less than what he fraudulently received).  Sharper’s political career is officially SUNK…
