Two years ago the state legislature set July of 2026 as the deadline to completely get rid of using QR codes to count votes in state elections. Fast forward to this year’s session and… nothing to that end has been done. Multiple elections bills were debated this year, but they all died on Sine Die, so now lawmakers, elections officials and voters themselves are left scratching their heads as campaign season swings into full gear. Could we see a special session? Could the courts decide? Could the state swap to its backup plan of hand-marked paper ballots? However it plays out, Georgians’ faith in our elections systems coming out of the session is SINKING…
WNBA embroiled in trans-athlete drama
Last Sunday a mother and daughter attended the Atlanta Dream/Indiana Fever basketball game at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. With two minutes left in overtime the pair were ordered to cover their XX-XY chromosome shirts— and the censorship incident went viral. It’s obvious that left-wing, pro-trans leaders of the Women’s National Basketball Association are intent on suppressing the message that men and women are different and that biological men cannot become women. However, widespread public support exists for these statements of fact, and by trying to censor them the WNBA is actually causing these viral moments. And that seems to be bringing more people to the side of sanity. RISING…
