An underreported U.S. Congressional GOP primary occurred last week in Georgia’s 11th District which resulted in unabashed “never Trumper” (until lately) Dr. John Cowan leading the race to replace retiring U.S. Rep. Barry Loudermilk. And— get this!— Cowan and his team have worked to delete more than 4,000 DELETED tweets that indicated one theme: He has hated President Donald Trump and even Trump’s voters for years.
Cowan faces former Loudermilk chief of staff Rob Adkerson, who has been endorsed by the outgoing congressman as well as by Turning Point USA, CPAC and many other prominent conservative influencers as the Republican runoff election on June 16 approaches. Adkerson declares he is the true “America First” candidate who pledges to work with the president to implement the “Make America Great Again” agenda that ranges from implementing more tax relief to keeping the border closed to illegal immigration.
