Peach trees are returning to Peachtree Street this summer when the 12th annual PeachFest arrives at Underground Atlanta.  An entire live Peach orchard featuring trees from Peach County’s Pearson Farm will be installed in the heart of the city, as part of a culinary festival honoring Georgia’s state fruit.  Renowned chefs and bartenders will be collaborating and competing to push the limits of Peach-inspired cuisine and cocktails, while live music, cooking demos and agricultural panels will explore the culinary evolution of the state’s iconic stone fruit.  Once the festival wraps up, the trees will be donated to city of Atlanta parks for permanent planting.  PeachFest takes place on July 12th, so don’t miss out – get your tickets today and we’ll see you there!
