The state of Georgia flexed its athletic prowess once again this week during the NBA draft when Atlanta’s Caleb Wilson was drafted fourth by the Chicago Bulls. That marks the sixth straight draft that a Georgia-born player was picked in the top 10 – the Peach State is the only state to boast that this decade. Fuller’s international diplomacy
One of the breakout stars of this summer’s FIFA World Cup was “Freddy,” the German soccer fan who traveled the country, documenting his visit and capturing the hearts of Americans with his wide-eyed appreciation of Southern cultural landmarks like Buc-ee’s, Waffle House, and the north Georgia town of Helen. Before heading back across the pond, he paid a visit to Washington D.C., where new U.S. Rep. Clay Fuller, a fan, got to show him around.
