Georgia will be in the spotlight at the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C as part of the nationwide celebration of America's 250th Birthday. According to Gov. Brian Kemp, Georgia's participation will include exhibits highlighting key industries in the state, as well as special items from well-known Georgia-based companies like Waffle House and Chick-fil-A.
The Great American State Fair officially opens today and runs through July 10 and will be held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
“Georgia is proud to join in the nationwide celebration of America's 250th birthday by participating in the Great American State Fair,” said Kemp. “From information about famous Georgia-grown goods to exclusive products from major Georgia-based brands, visitors from around the world who experience our showcase will have plenty of reasons to keep us on their minds.”
