Kemp fills judgeship vacancies

Gov. Brian Kemp has filled three important judicial vacancies to the Superior Court of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit: Debbie-Ann Rickman to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Shermela Williams; David Emadi to the Superior to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of the Judge Jane C. Barwick; and, recognizing her recent election to the Atlanta Judicial Circuit, Nikia Smith Sellers to fill a vacancy that will arise upon the appointment of the Judge Paige Whitaker to the Georgia Court of Appeals.
