The U.S. Department of Education is investigating three Georgia school systems as part of a wider investigation into the practice of letting teachers or employees who were accused of sexual misconduct transfer to other positions. Atlanta Beltline light rail back on the menu?
Many Atlantans were dismayed when Mayor Andre Dickens seemingly tabled the idea of light rail along the Atlanta Beltline, the city’s wildly popular and successful pedestrian path. After all, light rail was a core part of the loop’s original vision, meant to connect the city all around its (eventual) 22-mile loop.
