Expanding access to rural healthcare has been a key priority for legislators in recent years, but there are still areas where Georgia struggles. Questions linger over Atlanta City Hall investigation
An ongoing investigation into former Atlanta Municipal Clerk Foris Webb III is hitting roadblocks, as city employees are delaying or rejecting interviews by the inspector general. Webb received more than $900,000 in consulting fees from the city for his “work” on a referendum meant to block the city’s law enforcement training center, dubbed “Cop City.” That referendum got held up in court, never wound up doing anything, and the center was built, but Webb continued to cash a $35,000 check each month.
