Jack continues tradition with Fireside Chat

U.S. Rep. Brian Jack, R-GA, continued a tradition late last week when he held a “Fireside Chat” with over 100,000 constituents. It’s not necessarily that he held the chat that makes it historic but where he hosted it. Jack, who represents Georgia's 3rd Congressional District, held his chat from President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s historic Little White House in Warm Springs – located in Jack’s district.

According to Jack, President Roosevelt started the tradition of speaking directly to the American public through his famous “Fireside Chats,” and he (Jack) wanted to carry that spirit forward while utilizing the historic setting to discuss key legislative priorities and hear firsthand from families across the 3rd District.
