Gwinnett County District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson has filed a suit contesting House Bill 369, signed into law earlier this year, which makes local offices nonpartisan only in five core metro Atlanta counties.  She joins DeKalb DA Sherry Boston, who filed a suit of her own, challenging the law’s constitutionality.  The bill was meant to depoliticize local offices, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that instead of being applied statewide it only affects the five most left-leaning counties in the state.  The suit has HB 369’s legal future DRIFTING…
