The city of St. Marys on Georgia’s coast has been named the “prettiest town in Georgia,” by Architectural Digest, in its annual ranking of the nation’s top towns that are “both stunning and abundant in culture.”  St. Marys boasts a historic downtown, but also serves as the gateway to the pristine Cumberland Island National Seashore, the state’s largest barrier island.  Between its idyllic beaches, fresh seafood, outdoor recreation and historic culture, St. Marys offers a little something for everyone, earning its place near the top of America’s prettiest towns.
