The Georgia National Fair in Perry isn’t just the state’s most popular fair – it’s one of the biggest economic drivers in all of Middle Georgia.  Running now through October 18th, the fair draws nearly 600,000 visitors, filling hotels and driving traffic to Perry’s downtown restaurants and shopping locations.  According to a study from UGA’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government, the fair generates more than $133 million in statewide economic output and supports nearly 1,200 jobs in the region.
