Another day another drama for DeKalb County, where on Monday the school board voted 6-1 to remove Superintendent Steve Green, cutting his tenure short more than a semester early. The board voted to install longtime administrator Ramona Tyson as the interim superintendent. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
