For the first time since 1996 Atlanta’s Olympic flame will be lit, as the 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials return to Georgia. Ga. Supreme Court’s controversial decision
The recent decision by the Georgia Supreme Court to no longer hear (most) murder appeals has led to criticism and debate, particularly from the state Court of Appeals, which will now handle those cases. Court of Appeals judges say their staffs are already stretched thin, and that such a move would require the legislature to significanltly increase funding and staffing within the Nathan Deal Judicial Center.
