Some positive business news for a change – Gov. Brian Kemp announced Monday that Columbia County would be the site of a new Amazon fulfillment center, expected to open in late 2021. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
