An Athens-area hospital has come under fire as four nurses have filed a lawsuit alleging that it manipulated COVID-19 test results in order to cover up an outbreak. Nurses in the critical care wing of Landmark Hospital say they were instructed to falsify test results, which could have led patients to believe they were not sick when they in fact had the virus. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
