President Donald Trump appears to have added up to 1,900 more votes to his tally in Floyd County after the local Democratic and Republican parties observed hand counting of votes resulting in close to 2,631 presidential ballots not tallied on general election night. According to Board of Elections Chairman Tom Rees, “the hand count added 2,631 more votes than were registered by computers” and it appears that the ballots came from early voting.
“It is scary that this happened in Floyd County,” the county GOP Chairman Luke Martin said. “Imagine what the numbers could look like in places like (Democrat-dominated) Fulton County. “It appears that our elections office did not misplace any ballots, rather it appears as if this is a computer software mishap with the Dominion system.”
Rome City Commissioner Wendy Davis told the Rome-based Catoosa Valley News, “I am proud of the wonderful people who came in and worked tirelessly for two days. What we discovered (was) that the count that the elections office turned into the secretary of state was wrong.” The Catoosa Valley News reports that early votes cast on October 24 were not counted due to a scanner error. Officials said that after a scanner broke the ballots were taken to a second scanner where they were wrongly scanned.
The newspaper also reports that “several provisional ballots were counted more than once. There should have only been 141 ballots cast but 216 were counted. By calculations: 38,588 votes were cast in the presidential election in Floyd County, meaning the ballots found equal 6.8% of votes not originally counted.”
Fulton & Cobb County reports
Republican observers in Georgia’s most populous county— Fulton— tell InsiderAdvantage they cannot fully see the hand counts and further allege that workers are simply re-scanning the electronic ballots and not checking signature matches properly. As this is written, however, it cannot be independently verified.
A report being investigated in Cobb County is posted on Facebook:
“… I thought I had the honor of being a Cobb County hand recount monitor. When I arrived at the precinct, no one was able to help me and the 20 other volunteers that showed up. The Republican National Committee organizer showed up approximately 20 minutes late and was very unorganized. The county poll workers were quite hostile and would not provide any of us with any assistance.
“There was an incredible lack of transparency throughout the process. There were two poll workers at each table, 40 tables in total. The poll workers were employees of the state and no one knew if they were Republican or Democrat. Only 4 Republican monitors were allowed on the floor. That means that only 1/10 of the tables were being monitored. The ballots were so small, there was no way that a monitor could validate the document. We had to rely on the honesty of the poll worker.
“The poll workers were only counting the vote for president on the ballot with no signature verification. When the poll workers put the ballot in the appropriate bin, they referred to bin number one as “Trump” and bin number two as “Joe.”
“I witnessed approximately 2 to 3 Biden votes for every 1 Trump vote. I have no way of validating if this was true because we were kept at arm’s length….”
The Secretary of State’s office is supposedly investigating these allegations.
