A recent study provides good news for supporters of school choice – indicating that it is saving Georgia taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.  In a report from EdChoice, it was found that the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program and the Georgia Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit saved taxpayers between $605 million and $1.1 billion in FY 2018.  The credits allow taxpayers to redirect some of their state income tax to nonprofit student scholarship organizations for K-12 students.  Positive reports on the state’s school choice system have its proponents RISING…
