The University of Georgia is not just excelling on the football field, it is welcoming its biggest, and perhaps most qualified, freshman class ever. The class of 2026 (feel old yet?) includes over 6,200 students out of a record 40,000 applications. Georgia approves three-year bachelor’s degree
Georgia is joining a handful of other states in trying out a new three-year bachelor’s degree program meant to get students into the job market faster. The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved the Bachelor of Applied Science, which cuts down on electives and only requires 90 credit hours instead of the traditional 120.
