The city of Chamblee in DeKalb County is considering a major annexation effort – and local residents appear to be on board. The proposal would see Mercer University’s Atlanta Campus and the nearby Embry Hills neighborhood annexed into Chamblee, adding some 3,500 residents. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
