More than 2.2 million Georgians are expected to travel 50 miles or more for Thanksgiving this year, according to numbers from AAA. Dems post fundraising hauls
The 2026 governor’s race is just getting revved up, but a pair of Georgia Democrats are trying to establish themselves as early frontrunners. This week former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced that she’s raised $900,000 and lent herself another $200,000, while state Sen. Jason Esteves says his campaign has raised $1.1 million since he entered the race in April.
