The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced this week that it is opening a new regional patent office in Atlanta, a win for the city as it continues to bolster its reputation as an innovation hub. The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
