Bad news for GSU football

It wasn’t altogether shocking that Georgia State Head Coach Shawn Elliot resigned last week to take another job – what was shocking was that he took the tight ends coaching position at South Carolina.  A backward move like this would have been unthinkable just years ago, but in the wild west of NIL and unrestricted transfers, college coaches are abandoning their posts at a higher rate than ever before.  GSU now must scramble to fill the position just days before spring practice begins.  SINKING…
