Kemp backs U.S. Speaker

One of the biggest dramas in Washington is U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s continued effort to oust Speaker Mike Johnson, who is in her mind, supporting a Democratic agenda.  But some high profile Georgia Republicans are coming out in Johnson’s defense.  U.S. Rep. Austin Scott has been a vocal supporter of Johnson and this week Gov. Brian Kemp waded into the debate, making his stance very clear on Twitter. “Instead of bickering amongst themselves and handing Democrats control of the House, Republicans should do their damn job and vote on the important issues facing our nation.
