Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan has clashed with members of his own party since leaving office in 2022, taking up a vocal “Never Trumper” message as he pitched his idea of a “GOP 2.0.” His Trump aversion hit new heights this week when he publicly endorsed President Joe Biden for re-election, drawing the ire of many of his former colleagues. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
