Want to go on a safari but don’t want to spend thousands of dollars to fly to Africa? Head on over to Morgan County, where the much-anticipated Georgia Safari Conservation Park is scheduled to open this June. The park includes “luxury accommodations” for visitors to stay the night as well as day-trips and tours. Built on 530 acres in the rural county east of Atlanta, the park includes animals including giraffes, white rhinos, Hartmann’s mountain zebras, ostrich, eastern bongos, elands and more. Guests can take a guided tour through the park in a vehicle, or stay overnight in one of the private suites elevated up among the trees overlooking the park and its exotic inhabitants.
