Cobb County attorney and former U.S. Rep. Bob Barr was elected by the National Rifle Association board of directors as its new president who is tasked with building its membership and supporting its recently-endorsed presidential candidate Donald Trump. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
