Fulton County attorneys are seeking to lift a temporary injunction that is preserving 2020 election ballots, which means the ballots could then be destroyed before they are unsealed, copied and made public. They even want to receive attorney fees even after a state Supreme Court overturned lower court decisions to confirm standing for the plaintiffs who seek to copy and inspect the ballots. So– get this!– after years of blocking public access to its 2020 ballots, the county suddenly wants to destroy them. It really isn’t those who question election results (Stacey Abrams, Donald Trump, etc.) who erode voter confidence. They are election officials who pull stunts like this. SINKING…
Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
