Cobb Superior Court Judge Kellie Hill on Thursday ruled that the Cobb Commission maps used in recent primaries are unconstitutional – and must be thrown out, and their elections redone next year.  The saga began in 2022 when the Democrat-majority Cobb Commission drew up its own district map for the county, despite that responsibility laying with the state legislature.  The commission then used its ‘new’ map for this year’s primary elections, which will now have to be redone after the map was ruled unconstitutional.  A costly and time-consuming headache for Cobb voters has the commission SINKING…
