National and Georgia polling continues to show that the open borders policy of the Biden-Harris administration that have allowed countless millions of foreign law-breakers into the country in recent years is a major issue for voters during this fall’s presidential and congressional campaigns.

In this connection, last week 158 Democratic Party members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted against “The Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act.” Fifty-one Democrats in the House voted yes. However, all five Democrats in the Georgia House delegation voted no, which is now material for Republican campaign advertising.

This bill specifically mandates the deportation of illegal aliens who commit sex offenses, domestic violence, stalking, child abuse or violation of a protection order. Yet Democrat Reps. Lucy McBath, Hank Johnson, Nikema Williams (who also chairs the state Democratic Party), Sanford Bishop and David Scott opposed the legislation. (All 215 Republicans present voted yes, along with the 51 Democrats.)

“Over 10 million illegals have invaded our country since Kamala Harris was appointed border czar. Criminal illegal savages are sexually assaulting Americans at rates we’ve never seen before,” said U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo. “Any illegal who has been convicted of or admits to crimes outlined in the ‘Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act’ should be deemed inadmissible and deportable. Thank you to my colleague Congresswoman (Nancy) Mace (the sponsor from South Carolina) for leading the charge to prevent and remove these illegals from our country.”

“Everybody on the House floor should vote for that bill,” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., said. “But if any Democrat votes against it, they’re going to have to explain to people back home who are watching this be carried out in every community in America, why they would rather stand with illegals than women in their own districts that they represent.” As this is written, our research indicates none of the five Georgia Democrats have so far publicly explained their no vote.

A new Georgia immigration organization

In a related development, longtime activist D.A. King of Marietta— who founded the Dustin Inman Society which has advocated for enforcement of state and federal immigration control laws— has announced a new group that now accepts tax-deductible donations.

Its website is gaimmigration.org and the organization’s name is Georgians for Immigration Enforcement.
