One of the many displaced victims of Hurricane Helene is the Valdosta State University football team, which has temporarily relocated to Atlanta to stay use Georgia State’s facilities as it prepares for Saturday’s game against Shorter University. Atlanta snubbed for ’28 DNC Convention
The City of Atlanta and the Georgia Democratic Party made a strong push to host the 2028 Democratic National Convention, but fell short once again when it was announced that Boston, Denver and Philadelphia are the three finalists.
