In the midst of a competitive district attorney race in Savannah, Chatham Co. DA Shalena Cook Jones has had an ethics complaint filed against her for failing to file her latest campaign finance disclosures, due earlier this month.  Not only are candidates legally required to disclose their donations, they’re also important for the public to see who is behind the campaigns.  Her Republican opponent, Andre Pretorius, reported some $256,000 in donations. Cook Jones, a Democrat, has been accused of being “soft on crime” by her opponents, and failing to disclose her financial reports has her campaign SINKING…
