Anyone who’s been by the Georgia Capitol in recent months knows about the major renovations taking place to the historic building.  $392 million worth, to be exact, as approved by legislators earlier this year.  Part of the project is a retouching of the Capitol’s famed golden dome, and of course the state’s most famous gold-mining town, Dahlonega, is involved.  Crisson Gold Mine and Consolidated Gold Mine each donated 10 ounces of gold to regild the Capitol Dome, a nod to its original gilding with North Georgia gold in 1958.  RISING…
